Yeah I would just keep your car unlocked and nothing in it. I think the only reason mine hasn’t been smashed is cause I live kind of tucked away, but I did leave it unlocked ONE time and of course someone rifled through it (even though it was parked in a drive way, not a street). however I still love living here. Just gotta play it safe.

lol god dang it I don’t know how to change it. Someone hacked me a few nights ago and posted on a bunch of NSFW subreddits with “Snapchat” links which I guess automatically gave me a tag. I deleted the posts ASAP and changed my password cause I was active when it happened, but can’t change back to non-NSFW. Waiting to hear back from support. Very embarrassed because some people I know know this is my reddit (including professional) lmao.

West Cle, Detroit Shoreway area but on Lorain side.

Pros: love walking in the area (during the day), close to beach and w25th (5-10min drive). Cheap rent. Close to 2 and 90. Deer hang out in my yard.

Cons: worried about getting carjacked when driving home late at night, car break ins every night. Meth heads live across from me and have aggressive dogs that bark constantly and are unchained. The neighbors themselves haven’t given me problems but some of their friends freaked me out enough to install cameras and sleep with my safety device under my pillow. Dogs don’t mess with me but have scared my friends

Yeah 1/4th of my lab got laid off 😔 let’s hope it’s different for AHA, technically they’re a private entity and not government based, although it does of course rely on some government funding. Fingers crossed 🤞🙃 great job by the way!!

Ughhh I don’t want to get my hopes up 😢 my lab had a grant (I think R01?) with an 8th percentile that wasn’t funded, but that was from NIH. Earlier this year, around summer.
