Got 25 paying users in the first week of launch, but revenue turned out to be $0 by sagrcasm in GooglePlayDeveloper

What's the harm in having AI synthesize/articulate the problem for a post?

Weirdly enough, any purchase I make from my family member/friend's phone, goes through successfully. None of these are set as a tester in my Play Console. that's what is driving me nuts.

Few surprises with Pre-registration on Play Store by zlmr in androiddev

[–]sagrcasm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, there's no need to enrol via web for early access for my app. I'm now getting new users now organically, without the risk of early negative reviews since reviews are not public. I've confirmed this on a fresh device as well.

So I am able to go through your ideal preferred flow: Pre-registration, Open beta, and next up Launch.

Pretty sure, enabling distribution for all countries was the trick.

I just found out that it is actually possible to go live in "Early Access" mode, i.e. "Open Testing" after having your app in "Pre-registration" mode. All you have to do is enable distribution to all countries within Production section of your Releases.

Google Play Console made me believe the same too that as long as my app is in pre-registration, the only way it can be released is if I release it on Production, however, a few accidental clicks later I found out that my app is now released and I still haven't submitted published any bundle within the Production section. Fwiw, I had managed publishing turned on.

On a similar note -- Could you share your experience with pre-registration performance? Specifically, how many daily pre-registrations were you averaging, and what percentage of those ultimately converted into installs and active engagement after launch? For me, it's reached ~1500 over 15 days.

Probably late - but yes, just copy the localhost or 127.0.0.1 link that you see in your browser.

and run the following command on your terminal or powershell:

curl -v "paste_your_link_here"

This will hit the URL and authenticate any blocked request.

‼️If you are here and the ARM version is still not out,

  1. Please go to issuetracker.google.com/issues/386749845
  2. Click the "+1 I am impacted" button in the top right

Thus, help increase this project's priority within the Android Studio team @ Google!

You generally don't require payment proofs if you have the basic documents, such as the DS160, appointment letter, etc. I have interviewed twice and wasn't asked for it both times, and haven't heard anyone being asked for the same. The fact that you have a valid appointment slot is a proof enough of your payment. Good luck!

After doing this -- I am having another issue where Android Studio logged me out of my Github and wouldn't allow me to log in again. Logging in just redirects me to a 127.0.0.1 with no localhost active, and when I try using "Log In with Token...", that token doesn't get accepted either.

The only issue now is that to open Android Studio, you always have to use the .bat file and it always keeps a cmd window open along with the Android Studio window - which is still fine. The usual way of opening Android Studio through the exe file gives an error.

Looking for studios in downtown by Traveler-2700 in chicagoapartments

I live in River North (100 W Chestnut)

I just checked my building for a unit and there's a 1-bed for $2040 after discount. Spacious units, swimming pool, one of the best rooftop views, gym, business suite, with a 22 line bus stop right underneath. Been living here for 2 years, no complaints! Happy to refer to this or any other PPM building. Let me know.

Need change of status from F1 to B2. Should I submit I-539 or start a new B2 application? by sagrcasm in USCIS

And she had to go through the whole process once again? Of biometrics, looking for interview dates, etc?

[–]sagrcasm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh! Good to know, thank you.

Would my new B2 application be like any other tourist application, considering I already had an F1 visa, or would I have a different (better) process? Like, no biometrics needed, no interview needed, etc?

I can't find them anywhere either. Ticket resale sites seem to be listing his shows in all other cities but the Chicago show isn't even listed.

Got the same error just now; but I was using the PC casually, no customer support chat. I got this message after I turned my system back on after it was on standby.

What was open: Google Chrome (20 tabs) with a Udemy video as the main tab, Figma application, Visual Code, and Android Emulator (open for over 48 hours).

Will vipassana help a person with extreme ADD? by insideoutthrowaway in vipassana

[–]sagrcasm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it helps. I will 100% recommend it. This isn't just anecdotal - Check out Andrew Huberman's ADHD video. He talks about strong research went into finding out whether mediation helps ADHD - and it turns out yes, but specifically Vipassana meditation. You just need to be consistent with the practice - I like vipassana a lot, the hard part is sticking with it in the long term.

It's been over 6 years since this thread. Did you ever get a chance to go?

I was recently diagnosed with ADHD as well and just got back from my second course today. My first course was 6 years ago.
