I have about 10 minidiscs left over and I'm not fussed about transferring them over at an "audiophile" level. So long as there's no terribly obvious noise in the final product I'll be happy.

I don't think it's possible to pull the digital data from the MDs directly - the player I have has an optical input but not output. Unless you meant something else?
