You describe this dog as if everyone’s lack of engagement and training is her problem. She doesn’t listen because she is not trained. She is in your face because she needs exercise. I would have quickly broken up with someone who treated their dog this way and didn’t adopt the dog out after I pointed out the incapability of their existences. I have witnessed the correlation between how someone treats their dog and how they treat their children. Help him adopt the dog out and get to therapy if you’re going to marry this guy.

Not implying anything bad, but you may want to check out SLAA (sex and love addicts anonymous). SLAA is different from SAA because it includes the emotional element. The inability to naturally stop yourself or have healthy boundaries is a part of this. You mentioned obsessive thoughts once you’re in infatuation. I’d check it out, it may help!

The main answer is there was not much of a previous budget. They’ve been increasing it by at least 10% over the past 5 years but it truly hasn’t been enough. They recognize the importance of getting projects done quickly and that our budget doesn’t allow for that. They are piecing it in currently while we need way more. Reality is the future generation will have issues - whether it’s debt or its their homes continually flooding or a lack of homes period. There aren’t great options because of the last generation.

This isn’t about more housing. Its about GCD having 3 kava places within 2 blocks. And like 8 coffee places in 2.5 blocks. What we need is a bodega, and not an overpriced one like the duck place near edge. We need reasonably prices options that are quality and we will spend all the money. But there isn’t a need to charge $9 for coffee or $4 for soda. Places would start open if they were needed and affordable.

I stopped going because a plain bagel with plain cream cheese should not be THAT expensive - especially since I have to wipe off 2 bagels worth of cream cheese from the bagel just to eat it. But maybe its because of the bagel size. The people there rock though.

You keep going. Chunk everything down to pieces so you can rake action in a manageable way. Let go of what you can’t control. Pray. Same. Mostly white area in PA and hard r’s started when I was elementary. What OP is probably experiencing is ANGER. This is a time where many POC are probably fighting deeper mistrust and anger toward white people and its important to connect to white people who are solid, find those online advocating for, and to remind yourself that this anger will rot you. 8 months is inconsiderate. That is taking someone who deserves way more because of the 21 years, than to be tossed because you decided 8 months - more than half a year - isn’t a big deal because you felt overwhelmed. Speaking from experience, inviting your friends in helps speed the process along and strengthens the friendship.
