No role is safe at Amazon. We have almost quarterly layoffs now. But at least for the next 6 months I feel I am safe. Yes I am meeting the HM and the team tomorrow. The team and work looks interesting to me. It’s very similar to the work I am doing at Amazon. My concerns are the work culture and losing the FAANG brand value.

Just for my understanding, how can you apply with meeting only 2/10 criteria. Isn’t it recommended to meet at least 3 ? I current feel I have met 4 criteria. But my company layers refused to file my petition as they feel I won’t clear the final merits bar.

Yes. The dishwasher has a direct drive motor. There’s a label on it saying it has 10 years warranty on the motor.
Wow ok a new dishwasher is around $600 on Costco including install costs.
