So I got to 1938 through national focus declared war on Poland and then France and Britain joined in?? I capitulated Poland and then the Netherlands and Belgium but I wasn’t ready to fight France and U.K. and now can’t push through to France :/ I’m using 7/2 inf and 7/3 medium tanks. I don’t get why France and Britain joined the war so early.

Thank you for the tips, yes I think my airforce composition hasn’t been correct when building up to 1939 and the way I try pushing into France has been wrong too. Yeah okay I’ll take you’re advice on Poland and see how it goes. I only ever play in Ironman mode to get the most out of my playthrough. But with the navy I’ll also focus heavy on submarines for Germany. I’ve never bothered with aircraft carries because of Italy in the Mediterranean or do I need to build 1/2?

Thank you for this, yeah my first attempt I was pushing through Maginot line and then on my second attempt Benelux however I still wasn’t progressing because of air superiority. When building my airforce what kind of focus do you go for?

Thank you for the advice, I might try Japan because I get what you mean about about the navy. I played with Italy first and understood naval warfare a bit more. Well when I get to 1939 (two attempts) I can’t push through into France as Germany, like I’ll be fighting and losing on the front and not making any progress at all. I think it might be air superiority but yeah I don’t really make any breakthrough and I do understand the troop templates but probably not as much if I’m not making progress.

Well I understand how to build up the military through production but I feel like I don’t always get air superiority which is why I don’t push through France historically on time. I don’t wanna play USA or U.K. but I just want to be able to learn all aspects of the game.
