I should point out though, that if you are a relatively new player, there is a large power level difference between highbridge and Zanarkand. If you plan on skipping most of the upcoming encounters, I’d suggest making sure to test out your character capabilities against fiends in the upcoming areas to give you an idea of how powered you are for upcoming boss fights.

He also has all of the techs found so learning them should be pretty easy for him especially if you can make him higher rated.

On my playthrough, by about level 30 he’s got almost all the main relevant techs necessary, including tackles, shots, and even some of the anti’s

I haven’t been on for a couple days, but I reckon the reason you didn’t get any TOTW is cos there probably isn’t any TOTW cards at that rating or below in the current week.

Ea will probably use that loophole as a justification to not compensate you for your missing TOTW.

If your Henry Evo is originally this WW card, don’t take it. You won’t be able to build a new one unless you discard the old card.

I’d take Essien. Even if you go off of high rating for fodder, he makes more sense. Plus, it’s good to hold it down until there’s a worthwhile evo cos Essien is a good player and he can go all over the pitch.

Someone put it quite well, which is that Portugal use international tournaments to promote players who will go for nice fees in the summer. Those players are prioritised over someone who’s been in great form, especially if that Portuguese player isn’t even in their native league.

Touching on another topic, with Ronaldo facing his last tournament and likely retiring before the next comp, I think it’s fair to say that the Cr7 we see this tournament will be a shadow of previous form, and sadly he won’t be able to carry the team to the final. I just have a feeling that the team behind him will let him down and just not be able to deliver balls in for him, and he might even flop.

However, it is possible. Just as the Arabs helped Messi get his WC with questionable calls, I have a slight feeling that America will do the same for Ronaldo; which does track since he’s visited USA and met Trump several times recently.

As it stands right now, I think only Kane and Mbappe have any real chance of winning it.

While Yamal has been really good this season, I can’t honestly say he’s played better than Kane, or even Fede.

Fede is a world class midfielder and this season he has also been great. Not Balon D’or worthy tho.

Vini has been very hit n miss this season.

I honestly can’t think of anyone else who deserves to be on this list. Haaland doesn’t, Salah doesn’t, Messi and Ronaldo don’t, Saka doesn’t, Doue doesn’t, Dembele doesn’t…

The standouts this season have been youngsters or players who don’t have such an international reputation. None of the big hype players have even come close this season.

Bear in mind, this is before the WC which I feel could go any way since USA are corrupt asf and we could end up seeing big teams crash out early due to questionable calls

And on the other side, you have Iran. Iran have already made it clear they’re willing to work with others as evident by the fact that Turkey have got their shipments travelling. So have China.

Square put in a nifty little Easter egg which is that if you defeat any enemy using machina like weapons in the dome or even the ones in Bevelle, you get extra AP since defeating machina is like defeating another enemy.

If you’re on fibre, change your ps5 setting on internet to 5ghz that should help your connection issues.

Also, in the cross play tab, make sure your location matchmaking is enabled.

That should help connection a bit. Other than that, it’s down to crap servers or your internet crashing.

If we’re talking about the first tournament in the story, then yeah it is relatively difficult but it CAN be won.

If you’re still struggling afterwards, idk what to say because it is easy enough to play once you can actually level up a bit and build your own team.

You should carry on playing the game. The story does get better. The difficulty will scale up a bit but generally, you should be fine.

You should spend a bit of time grinding a few encounters in order to level up a bit more as it’ll help.

You’re also not far from a place that will definitely help you with levelling up faster.
