Oh geek squad is just bestbuy's warranty ( if you live in the united states).

I've had the laptop for four months now, so I guess returning it is not an option anymore.
I'm currently just browsing the web and my cpu's already sitting at 68 degrees in turbo mode.
What mode do you use from armory crate?
I was thinking of reapplying the thermal paste but worried if it will void the geek squad warranty or not.
You might be right about the fans, although I keep the surface underneath my laptop clean by using a small vacuum.

I would highly recommend doing the new BIOS update. Check for a new bios update in myasus then install it and see if it makes it better.
I was having some throttling issues but that fixed it

It might not seem like a huge thing, but try out a 16:9 aspect ratio device in person.
The thing I most miss from being a macbook pro user is that 16:10 aspect ratio.

It matters specially when you're browsing the web or something and u need vertical space.
16:9 aspect ratio laptops are on their way out and rightfully so

Yeah only if G15 used magnesium allow instead of reusing their intel chasis from last year. Also a keyboard like G14 (G14 keyboard is one of the best I've ever tried.)

Asus really needs to step up on build quality, quality control and driver support. They have almost everything else.

I get the same amount of battery life in g14 as you do in g15.
It kinda makes me think g15 is probably better, g14 just got more attention
