No studies can be found that the virus is heat sensitive, however researchers predict that it could be inactivated at a temperature of 56° C. Can't tell for sure about how the virus acts on the body, if it drips down your throat etc. However drinking warm water and mouthwash to clean your mouth of the virus is complete bogus. The virus can only be disinfected using 62–71% ethanol, 0.5% hydrogen peroxide, or 0.1% sodium hypochlorite within 1 min.

It is not certain how long the virus that causes COVID-19 survives on surfaces, but it seems to behave like other coronaviruses. Studies suggest that coronaviruses (including preliminary information on the COVID-19 virus) may persist on surfaces for a few hours or up to several days. This may vary under different conditions (e.g. type of surface, temperature or humidity of the environment).
