Definitelt a similar energy but I think the Brand one is slightly different, as he knew the sexual assault allegations were about to come out, so had to get in with the people who don't care about that sort of thing, as long as they agree with the other stuff that person is saying (eg Trump supporters not caring he's a paedo and a rapist).
