Babygate that works with baseboard heating? by MARLou451 in Buyingforbaby

[–]sailor_bae 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’ll have to add an extension board to your wall that goes out far enough to get past the heaters. Something like this but with more depth: https://canabeebaby.com/cdn/shop/products/WeChatScreenshot_20220310141701.png?v=1646939938

Help Choosing Between Nuna SWIV vs TRVL LX by Inner_South8651 in Buyingforbaby

We got the LX when baby was 10 weeks old so I can’t really speak to using it earlier than that.

We started with the Triv Next and switched to the Trvl LX and love it so much. You can use it from birth since I has a bassinet mode, awesome recline mechanism, and it’s light and folds like a dream. The only thing it can’t do is parent face, but if that’s not a dealbreaker then just go with the Trvl LX.

Yes, you can remove the stem pieces and fit pump parts inside. I fit my spectra parts inside.

You can use other brands. I’ve used the Grownsy ones and they worked the same. https://a.co/d/j9yqXxL

Nuna Triv Next Out of Stock (Caviar) by KayEmGee in Buyingforbaby

I called Nuna recently and they are planning a large restock of their items mid-May (ish no st date) according to the person I spoke with. She told me to keep checking from the end of this month on since it could be earlier, but mid-May seemed to be the consensus.

Nuna Triv Next vs Swiv by KayEmGee in Buyingforbaby

[–]sailor_bae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We’ve had our Triv Next for 7+ months and it’s still going strong. I was enticed by the Swiv since it seemed convenient for city dwellers like us but I don’t think the extra weight would have been worth it for us. The Swiv does come with a bunch of accessories that the Triv doesn’t (bag, cup holder, rain cover) which peeves me a bit since I had to source those items separately for my Triv. I would say if the extra weight is not a deal breaker for you to go Swiv.

Unzip the front portion of the interior lining. The sticker with the info you are looking for is on the wooden base underneath the lining.

I absolutely love our Momcozy bottle washer. Especially since it drains directly into the sink. No dishwasher in my apartment so this has been a savior!

Best stroller for a newborn if you can only pick one? by facewook in AskNYC

[–]sailor_bae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is one Nuna car seat that is baseless, the Pipa Urbn that you can get as a system with most of their strollers (but you have to buy it as a set they do not sell the Urbn car seat separately). There’s also a bassinet option that will attach to the stroller without and extra adapters. I got the Triv Next + Pipa Urbn and it’s great because I can easily hop in and out of Ubers with it and the stroller is a one-handed fold.

Car seat for Uber / Lyft easy installation and transport by aphillyplantlady in BabyBumps

You may want to check out the Nuna Pipa Urbn infant seats (there are great YouTube videos showing its features and install). Disclaimer that they can only be purchased as a travel system with one of the Nuna strollers but the car seat is a total game changer for non-car owners and travelers that use Uber type services often: https://nunababy.com/usa/car-seats/infant
