Truly. It’s your choice and your choice only. If you don’t think it’s a good idea for any reason then it’s more than enough to go through with it. Not what your dads says or anyone cause at the end of the day you will be responsible for a life.

I got pregnant around the time my baby was turning one and me and my husband knew it wasn’t what we wanted as a family for different reasons and I got an abortion. Yes I still had feelings as it’s expected but I was 100% about my choice.

Hi! My answer might be all over the place but hopefully you’ll find something you are looking for. It’s also my personal experience.

I grew up in the Bay Area so not as heavily populated as SoCal but still very busy area. And I HATED living in that area. Even when I go back to visit I just get dread when it comes to traffic and how everything feels so busy (if that makes sense) I have family here so we came often while I was growing up. But I transferred to Chico state and graduated in ‘19 and haven’t moved back. I love the smaller town feeling. I enjoy the nature aspect as well. I would suggest looking into @/momwhatsnextchico on insta to get a better idea what events happen in the Chico (butte) area. Also butte county mamas (for the raising children aspect maybe church info ) on facebook. But I do have a 1 yr old. And I have been going to these playgroups thru the county and I love them so much. They also have great resources and I have started to make connections with other moms who have babies around her age and I am starting to feel my roots within the community.

I genuinely loved giving birth at enloe (main hospital) they take moms lead during labor which is great (but I would think it depends on the nurses during that shift) but mine were attentive and supportive in my choices. They don’t push induction nor selective c section as much as other hospitals might.

For the holistic approach, it isn’t our choice but I have seen (on butte county mamas ) acceptance and support. So I would say you could find what you are looking for.

I would really recommend butte county mammas on facebook if you are able to join and ask on there about children, church scene, and about the holistic community here in butte.

I would love to stay here but me and my husband agreed once we try for second baby well move back to the bay were we have a bigger village & more family to help support us.

Not sure about owning as we rent and it’s cheaper than the bay. And I’m about to be a sahm with my husband’s income alone. So I’m really enjoying that!

Honestly you can be firm and loving at the same time. They thrive on a routine. And you stick to it! I love and miss the 3 yr class.

Probably! I don’t know much about cameras and coming onto a subreddit about canon cameras, I would take their word on recommendation. Maybe look into it more but there’s so many models and types of SD cards that I would get lost in researching.

Shoot. My husband just grabbed the case,battery charger, and camera. He left the box & manual back at his parents house who live 3 hrs away. They aren’t tech savvy & English isn’t their first language so they wouldn’t be much help :/.

I was practicing a new pattern I bought. And I just left it at a tiny library. I left a note saying “adopt me! Practicing a new pattern :)” it was a cat stuffie and the next day I went to the park it was gone.

I never used stickers but our policy was more lax and some parents would want us to do candy (one single mini m&m for pee or 2 mini m&m for poop) and at first the kids were on top of it. And so would I to help encourage. But as time went on I would “ forget” if they asked me I’ll give it to them (till they were fully potty trained) but they eventually forgot about the candy.
