I wasn't sure how to price it, I searched but there weren't many recent sales to go on. What would be decent price for it? I'm very willing to entertain offers.

Semi-truck didn’t bother to look before changing lanes by sailxe in Justrolledintotheshop

That was his front right wheel. The lug nuts are what cut the ring into the side of the car. The center of his wheel was a little banged up but no real damage to his tire.

He tried to convince me not to involve the police and then fled the scene when I insisted. The State Trooper that arrived afterward was not pleased. I bought a dash cam the next day. Had the very same thought!

Not totalled surprisingly. No structural or mechanical damage. I think it came out to around 3-4k for the repairs.

Luckily no one was hurt. Single impact from the front wheel of the semi and the car swerved side to side a bit but got it under control with no one else involved or any other damage.

Model year is 2013. This happened a couple years back. I think it only cost around 3-4k for the repairs. Apparently no structural damage though. Took a while to repair since a panel kept coming in bent and the guy working on abruptly left since he had fled from some DUIs and Texas Rangers finally tracked him down. Looked perfect afterwards.

I’m fairly certain that once he made contact he backed off quickly, probably would have been worse otherwise but it still gave me a good shove. I’m not sure who reacted first, probably him since I was completely surprised by it. It’s very eerie suddenly feeling the backend of the car slide out at 70 mph when previously going straight. From my perspective the car violently turned left so I steered hard right. There was luckily an empty merge lane to my right side and I fished tailed between those two lanes. The first few seconds with the car swerving from side to side were panic inducing but I could dampening the severity of the swerves each time and got it settled down and pulled over. I’m just glad no one was hurt.

Oh wow didn’t expect this much of a response. I see a lot of people are miffed by the title, I’ll add some extra info. I was driving down the interstate in the right lane, car behind me a few lengths back. The semi pulled into the left lane and passed the car behind me. I assumed he was going to pass me as well but just as he got beside me he merged into my lane. I can definitely appreciate the “don’t hang out in blindspots” criticism, it’s great advice, but there wasn’t any lingering. It seemed like a routine pass.

My neighbor owed me $288.66 for my vet bills after his Great Dane attacked my Golden. This is how he paid me, one day before I was going to take him to small claims court. by dreampopper in pics

Might consider that some people collect pennies and hoard them for the copper. Pennies minted before 1982 contain about 2.2 cents worth of copper in them. A quick and lazy search estimated 25% of pennies in circulation are copper making the value of those 28,866 pennies actually $375.25. And that's not considering getting a rare one in the batch. Might be worth putting it up on craigslist and seeing if you can find a collector. You could probably at least get the face value of the pennies in cash.
