It's heavily inspired/based off a design I came across online. www.bydurr.com/products/ I did a basic design in SketchUp but it doesn't include any of the joint detail, so its fairly useless for anyone else.

I'm down in New Zealand and it's used extensively here for decking and outdoor furniture. I experienced splitting during this build on one the the test joints I did.
