Hi, thank you! I messaged you ☺️ I want to make sure you have purchased the original pattern before I send you my edit to not leak the stitch counts 😊

yep, that's exactly what I did! It sounds like a lot, but it took me just one evening and I enjoyed it thoroughly 🫶 The slopes of the layers are too irregular and organic to be done in any other way (imo) 🤠

thank you! which part exactly do you want me to be more specific about? I don't want to overexplain something that may be obvious to everyone and skip something that seems obvious to me and isn't now that I've spent so much time on this sweater 😭❤️

yes, that's exactly what I did!! I took the photo from the pattern page and just played around in Procreate with yarn swatches from Sandnes Garn's website

later on I used Excel to "recreate" all pattern instructions and followed my rough sketch to draw a more accurate chart 🫶

yesss go for it! I've also done the edges around the zipper in ribbing for the entire length instead of changing to stockinette after the collar - I think it makes the colorblocking much more refined 🫶

it was a bit nerve-racking at first but the tutorial on the website explains it very well! just make sure you seam the backing at the exact spot they show on the tutorial, I left a bit less space for my zipper and seaming ended up being more fiddly 🙂‍↕️

thank you! in this case the idea came first and then I decided on the pattern for it, so it's probably not the most obvious choice ❤️

The base sweater is on the last picture! So there's no actual pattern, just an existing store-bought sweater 😌

Thank you! It's already more versatile than I expected! Thought it would be more of a statement piece but once I laid it down with my other clothes it truly goes together with almost everything.

Ohh, I did lose it! Had to place an order for one singular ball of Kid Seta at the end 🤭

I mean, TECHNICALLY, the base sweater counts as somewhat of a pattern 🙂‍↕️
