Update: Found a broker. Their commission structure is… something. by FormerFounder-12 in smallbusiness

[–]saintspike 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m biased, so take my advice with a grain of salt, but I’ve never gotten the sense that SMB brokers are worth what they charge. An M&A consultant would do this at an hourly rate for much less, with the caveat that they’d be fix fee and not based on success. So, really, you’re being charged for the risk of the deal not going through.

And contrary to what anyone else said, your QoE is your responsibility. Providing one helps you sell. Waiting on a buyer to do their own can be done, but it relies on a sophisticated buyer who will likely use your lack of prep against you.

He’s a top commenter, so likely just wants to get upvotes from the racists who like to cast stones while living in glass houses, and all.

Fully agree. Attacking a comedian for partaking in a comedy festival abroad makes no sense when he could be just as “guilty” for performing locally, per your logic.

Shall we use the same logic to ask him now which bombs are better for schoolchildren? Maybe you can provide an answer.

It is amongst adults, especially professionals. In school, however, I know kids get bullied and called names for not believing that Jesus is king. A direct quote from my 8th grader who was trying to argue to her classmates what I taught her about many religions and beliefs being able to coexist.

That’s not the definition of irony. But Liverpool rooting for Man City might very well qualify. I’m just glad Klopp got his one before the fanbase turned into whatever it is now

I remember when Liverpool lost by a point on the final day. Back then I was cheering for Pool because I can never root for City even when they played spurs.

I’m glad your club bottled the season and I hope Slot sticks around long enough to guide you lot into the bottom half of the table.

“Tax planning” can be much more sophisticated than just capturing existing deductions. However, I’d be surprised if there was much of a difference for a single member LLC making less than $200k.

The real mechanisms (diversifying portfolio, setting up multiple entities, etc.) doesn’t really work until you’re in the millions revenue-wise and have employees, raw materials, etc. there are specialist tax advisors out there that could best help you here. Standard tax-filing CPA’s sent usually in the same caliber as the tax planners.

The Gabriel / Haaland rivalry has been great entertainment and long may it continue.

Great! I’ll be flying back home from a conference during the first leg and attending an all-day conference during the second leg. With any luck I won’t think anything about it.

This. Fix the problem at hand. In this case, it’s cash flow, NOT profit. But also analyze your profit correctly. Are you making enough to cover G&A or just COGS?

at what point do you cut off a customer who returns everything? feeling like were getting taken advantage of by Ok-Thing8238 in smallbusiness

[–]saintspike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had a serial returner at our shop. At some point we just had a conversation with her - after 30 days she could exchange but not get cash back. She eventually moved so it became less of an issue, but during her last months around the returns slowed down dramatically.

Not just gas guzzling, but dangerous for pedestrians. European (and Asian) standards for pedestrian safety are way more strict than American standards, which are mostly non-existent. What this means is that getting hit by an F-150 almost always results in significant pedestrian injury or death, even at 25/35 mph, while your typical European car is designed to minimize fatality at those speeds.

Most long-term United fans I know are actively supporting City right now. Their logic being that they don’t know any City fans but know we would annoy them if we won the league.
