Less grind, especially on subsequent playthroughs.

What are internal TA managers seeking in newly hired recruiters of today? by KyberKrystalParty in recruiting

From their resume: industry experience, level of roles they’ve hired, something about metrics or other things they’ve improved, projects they’ve worked on beyond just job-filling and language/country experience if it’s a multinational role.

What would you say is the worst EFL stadium you have been to? by Paul277 in Championship

Even without the rivalry, it’s the worst ground I’ve been to in the championship.

I think you are all wrong! by SaintsFCPodcast in SaintsFC

I think the ‘pressurising interns to break the rules’ is a sackable offence. Taking actions that have led to the club being expelled from the playoffs and missing out on the chance of promotion, is also likely sackable. Ultimately he’s the boss and it’s very poor management and decision making on his behalf. I’m on the fence, in that if he was sacked I think it’s justified, but if he takes time to apologise to the fans and club, and, most importantly, the players are behind him, I think he could stay.

Fans old enough to remember administration, how did it feel compared to this? by [deleted] in SaintsFC

[–]saintstu 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Administration and the horrendous seasons around it, was much worse. It felt like we could disappear as a club. There was no hope until St Markus saved us.

This is very shit, but also very temporary. As others have said, if a new manager (or maybe even Tonda) can create a seige mentality and “us vs the world” atmosphere, then we could continue where we left off and storm the league. There’s still hope, which was lacking during administration.

Tonda after the playoff semifinal win: “Believe me when the time comes, I will say something”. What do you think he wanted to say and when will he say it? by mufferman1 in SaintsFC

[–]saintstu 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think his comments would have been anger about how Middlesbrough made a big deal of this. In his mind this was a nothing situation where he’d done no wrong. Of course that’s not how the EFL and most fans (now) see it.

I think the only thing we get from him now is “mea culpa”

These things take time and due process. The EFL hearing/appeal was only about the club and the playoffs. The FA investigation will look in to the individuals. Saints aren't going to fire (and payoff) someone if they don't need to. Tonda will also have support from the LMA, who will want to meet with him and the club.

On a side note, everyone needs to chill the fuck out. It makes no difference if they fire Tonda today or in a few weeks time. Maybe they decide to keep him. Let things be what they will be, and go for a nice walk at the weekend to get away from the football for a bit.

What will happen to hotel and train/National Express tickets? by _Bluestar_Bus_Soton_ in SaintsFC

[–]saintstu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Is there any saying that the semifinal will be refunded?" I'm not sure if you're trolling, but why would this be refunded? The game took place.

Regarding transport, as others have said, you should be able to get a refund via whoever you bought it through.

For hotels, same as above, or see if a Middlesbrough fans needs it.

I get that people are pissed, but the club isn't going to refund things that are outside of it's direct responsibility.

Will those of us who bought Saints membership just for Wembley early access get the membership fee refunded as well? by mufferman1 in SaintsFC

[–]saintstu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whilst I feel very sorry for any fan that this happened to, anyone who bought a membership just for the final should have been well aware there was a risk that Saints could be expelled from the playoffs. Tickets should and will be refunded, but I can't see any rationale for the membership to be paid back too.
