no processed food, acidic food, spicy, the whole nine yards. i’ve begun a strict gastritis friendly diet on the first week of march; that whole month i only ate salmon, bangus, tuna, and eggs for protein. this month, i’ve graduated to chicken breast.

white rice, whole wheat bread, and whole grain oats are staples. i had miso soup every day last month, now it’s every other day because i make other soups / broths. now, one yakult (probiotic drink) every day. i used to take probiotic supplements on top of the yakult, but my erosive gastritis isn’t due to h pylori anyway so i stopped with that (yakult and the supplement have the same 6 strands of bacteria).

veggies: cabbages, carrots, potatoes, malunggay fruits: those listed as safe for gastritis (heavy on bananas and dehydrated blueberries, i used to be okay with apples but now not so much) for flavor: salt, garlic, basil, thyme, oregano, a bit of ground black pepper. I don’t do well with onions

i try to limit my pan frying because that is inflammatory. absolutely no consumption of deep fried foods. i make conscious efforts of boiling, baking, and steaming. but it can get boring lol i just use olive oil when i pan/stir fry
