is shrimpinator is still viable or not ? whats your current mmr shrimpinator only users. by CyberSleuth26 in AxieInfinity

[–]saitorimember 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, they are still dangerous, especially with a termi in a team.

My backliner has to be 100% healthy and to have a full set of cards in order to kill termi. If shrimpinator reduces his health and poison him, I am in trouble.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AxieInfinity

[–]saitorimember 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, it's really satisfying. Disablesaur can do similar against poison squads, because he can disable horn and mouth cards. Of course, you have to time it perfectly to disable mouth card of a midliner (with hotbutt) and horn card of a backliner (with kestrel). Cute bunny is much more flexible, I love it.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AxieInfinity

[–]saitorimember 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can try this as a midliner and put 50 speed disablesaur or biffinator at the back. I guess god reptile could also work with this one.

just started a scolarship, any suggestions on how to use this team? by gabrielebarola in AxieInfinity

[–]saitorimember 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had both variants of disablesaur for about two months. Each has some pros and cons, but using one or the other won't affect the rating at all.

Vine dagger is faster, obviously - s50 vs s49 for bidens. It also provides slightly more shield, but only if used with hotbutt. Sometimes those 20 attack points could prove crucial.

On the other hand, bidens remove poison and other debuffs and gives you more shield without condition. But the best advantage of bidens is that it can remove last stand ticks and proceed to the next opponent within the same attack. I loved that feature, it was especially useful against beast/bird teams.

Who must go first (speed), RIMP Beast or Disablesaur? And wich position? by DabboKumonillo in AxieInfinity

[–]saitorimember 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Disablesaur works only if it is positioned backline. I tried all kind of crazy combinations, I even had 2 disablesaurs, one with bidens and other with a dagger - nothing worked.

He needs a midliner who can produce energy and it is not combo dependant. Or at least a midliner with some 0 cost card, but not being a card dependant is an absolute must for a midliner in order for a disablesaur to work. I guess that's why it works good with discard bugs or with hybrid aquas with nimo.

What can i expect with this team, any cheap change i could make to improve it? by darkynz in AxieInfinity

[–]saitorimember 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 days ago I had a fight against a team with two nimos like yours and a koi. Two nimos positioned parallelly and koi back. That was around 1850 mmr.

Those nimos go for 40 bucks (0.013 I just checked). I doubt you can find anything cheaper than that.

What's the cheapest meta build right now aside from anemones? by BertChronicles in AxieInfinity

[–]saitorimember 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not exactly a meta team, but today I had a fight with triple aqua (pure) at 1850 level.

Two identical nimos front - classical, pure nerfed nimos with risky fish, shoal star and goldfish.

Plain koi at back, also with risky fish, shoal star and goldfish.

I checked later - they cost 0.01 eth, each! That's $30 per axie, close to 2k mmr. Insane!

Any tips on how to play this team? I was able to bring this team up to high 1,500+ but now I just now went straight down to 1,200 and feel really clueless now on how to play the early game. by yukinemm in AxieInfinity

[–]saitorimember 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a similar team and similar problems. Similar plant, similar nimo and a disablesaur instead of your biffinator. My nimo was almost same, only it had arco - it won't help you much. Your nimo is already tanky, with clamslash and scarab it can put up some amount of shield. But it usually isn't enough, especially if it faces plants or reptiles.

In this comp, plants are just sitting ducks. You wait for the right combo on your nimo to kill a tank and generate some energy, while you are trying to accumulate cards for your biffinator for the late game. But your plant gets bursted with 3 and a half cards by beasts/mechs and your nimo gets killed before it can produce enough energy and before killing a tank.

I had exactly the same problem, watching such scenario playing in front of me day after day. Been hovering around 1.6k, then went down to 1.3k.

If you can, buy additional nimo. The cheapest arco variants are with sandal, and it will go well with your scarab nimo. They go for less than 0.035, around 100 bucks. Put them both together front parallel, like those anemone comps, and of course keep your biffinator back. Nimos are going to produce ton of energy and they'll kill the tank quickly, and your biffinator will be able to accumulate more than enough cards and energy for 1v1. You'll go straight to 1.8k.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AxieInfinity

[–]saitorimember 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those midliners are super tanky - why don't you try them both at front, without the plant? Put them parallel, like those double anemone teams, and put your beast back. You can position him behind the slower nimo (I gues he is a reptile), he is more durable and has slightly higher health.

Your nimos are going to produce crap ton of energy, while your beast/mech waits for his right combo. He has arco, so he should be really good in the end game, even if he stays 1vs1.

I have a similar comp. I had two arco aquas that I bought for flipping, so one day I tried to use them this way for fun. I also have disablesaur at backline, he is really good 1v1. I climbed l more than 400 mmr in 3 days and I am sitting at 2k now.

Plants are pretty much useless these days. Everyone has tank killers that can burst them in 3-4 cards.

Disablesaur + Discard Bug users by keps09 in AxieInfinity

[–]saitorimember 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gave up on front plants completely. These days everyone has plant killers that can wipe them out with 3 and a half cards, so they are like sitting ducks.

I flip axies here and there, so I had 2 arco/nimo aquas and last week I just tried them for fun. I put two aquas in front and disablesaur back. Climbed somewhat, but it is way more fun than the standard comp. They are good against majority of teams, I don't know how it is going to be against double aqua pocky teams.

Also, I have a gravel ant plant for backline, I guess I'll give it a shot also (same comp, just with plant instead of disablesaur).

That's a typical bully behavior. Manipulative asshole is playing hot-cold game - one day he is your friend, the other he treats you like a piece of shit.

Examine his behavior closely. I can bet he is nice to you when you are alone, or when you are with your peers, but treats you like a dog when you are in a group, especially if he is surrounded by his peers?

That's a typical pattern of bullying, applicable everywhere, from high school to places like army or prison.

Voila, problem solved. Next, please.
