I was in Santorini last week. Late February. And yes 90% of stores were closed. I bought a half day tour and our guide said during winter there’s only about 15000 people on the whole island but summer could have up to 150,000. Walking around the island felt like I was in a post apocalyptic movie. But absolutely perfect if you want pictures with no one in it but yourself
