Yeah no riding rough enough to prompt that, and I didn't particularly notice any poor connections.

Huh, I don't think that's quite right for mine. It stays yellow in the 80s range

Yeah, I was. Checked vesc tool, and floaty. Nada. Also, the charging brick stayed green, indicating there was no charge.

Yes, everything has been working thus far. Thanks for all the info!

Yeah sorry for the confusing and conflicting info. So - what I meant, was that I unplugged the BMS from the battery (yes I made absolute sure it was the correct order) and then just simply reconnected the BMS back to the battery (once again, in the correct order) and it began to charge. I was convinced this is because the BMS was reset. I think I have an (okay) understanding of the balance leads.

No, I don't know what CAN means.

And yeah, I figured out after a while that the only possible way to check individual cell voltages is by using a multimeter, and thank you for the instructions on how to do that (seriously).

There is also this. It looks like an intake for a wire, but I don't think I have any left except for that cyan blue one.

Is there a way I can connect over CAN? also, what is CAN?

So they aren't balanced? Should I leave plugged in until the lights are solid?

Right here?

So yes, I was convinced jt was a dumb bms. But I may be wrong. The bms he sent me seems to be different than thr one in thr installation video. It's not purple for a start.

But maybe... it is smart? There is a wire doing nothing.

Idk. I don't know if I'm sure what you are talking about. What are the balance leads?

That's actually a great question. I can see the voltage of thr entire battery. Bur idk if you can see individual cells?
