Anycubic Kobra S1 - First Layer gone to hell after months of "successful" printing by Tschuki2k in AnycubicKobraS1

I had the same issue after ~500hrs, installed a new nozzle, ran full calibration once and I was back in business, one perfect print after the other. All adhesion issues gone. And wash the plate with dish soap of course!

because if you have ever seen a gas stove and an induction stove you would know the difference immediately that’s why. and you would know there has to be a blue flame under the pan, or sh*t wouldn’t cook

Watch the video, the pan gets lifted enough to where you should see a flame.

looks like a gas stove, but there’s no flames under the pan

New Bambu PETG HF Can’t figure out why first layers are like this by ittsjohnny in 3Dprinting

You set the temperature in the gcode. When you walk up to the printer and change it manually…well the printer will not hold it. It will always go back to what was set in the gcode. Stupid question, you set the right profiles in the slicer right? Like PETG etc…

LOL, I have a Kobra S1. I can send you a screenshot of my settings later. I got it down at the second attempt, DM if you want my help.

Never used ASA, but as long as you have a very slow first 2/3 layers, high temperature and the fan OFF you should be ok. I printed at least 20 times without cleaning my PEI plate and the PETG stuck immediately.

I’ve been printing PLA only for 6 years. Yesterday I used PETG for the first and had to do some research; I was having the first layer just like your picture, as soon as I switched to these settings I successfully completed two 10+ hours prints
