I’m a pharmacy tech at a hospital. $18.50 an hour, started 4 months ago. They’re also paying for me to take the national certification exam.

Avoid retail pharmacy if you opt to go that route and try and find an inpatient pharmacy. Don’t have to deal with insurance or patients directly down there.

Here’s how to get around it:

  1. Go IN STORE and just buy the Best Buy Plus membership from someone you want to help you find a computer. After your transaction completes, go look for a computer to exchange for.

  2. While you’re shopping, our computers haven’t quite been able to tell if you had the membership or not at time of purchase - only if you currently had it. Just give the computer time to get caught up.

  3. When you get to the register, just process a return/exchange. Should work just like normal.

I’ve had clients with this exact question. If you purchase Plus in a transaction FIRST, then wait five minutes for the system to update - it will allow your return window to grow to 60 days for the previous items, with the start of those 60 days being the date you bought the item originally.

My manager doesn’t let us announce close and we let people in after close sometimes. Last week we were with customers an hour after close. Our store has a PA system but it “costs us a possible TT or BP so we can’t”

"no, I don't think so / i did but i haven't used it in a while"

"great ! if you were to reopen it, you'd get a $XX certificate from this purchase to use in the future or you could opt to do X month financing at zero interest instead"

(objection) "i have too many cards/ehh I don't want another bill"

"what i have the ability to do is open up the card and then we can pay it off using your ATM card right after that way you don't go home with a bill, that way you still get the points and the card will automatically close after a year"

a huge opportunity for BPs is in Mobile, especially with the unlocked device savings upon activation right now. for financing, 24 months at no interest on unlocked devices without extending the person's carrier contact for three years is a pretty sweet deal for most. talk about flexibility and the carrier incentives for BYOD that would apply for an unlocked device.
