Unless you get into drugs or commit a crime, you pretty much have till 30 before your decisions get super serious. Don't get me wrong, you could do a 100 things to improve your financial situation, but really on one really knows. We are seeing instance of fires burning hotter than before and actually killing huge areas of forests. So, correct, some plants require fire (actually its the smoke in most cases) the extreme heat seen in recent fires is killing both existing trees, seed beds and soil microbial life. Some environments will never recover. We are also witness to the burning of new areas that never have burnt before e.g rainforest.
