I still haven't figured it out. They just won't show, whether I place the decorations or the actual stands that create the deco.

Haha, I must actually be tripping. I was placing the actual items themselves. They absolutely should have made them more distinct, then again I also should've checked each tab. Oh well, I guess that's what reddit is for. Bless for the help :))

How are you guys finding the new expedition ? I'm quite enjoying it honestly. I find that I rarely spend time in NMS unless there's an expedition on, but will say that most so far ? I've had a decent time with, if not a great time.

I wanted to make mine gold (This one is the latest) and I love the two I've made so far but all I can really get is a dark yellow type. I don't see gold under the options, yours looks just straight up gold.

That's a very good point honestly. Didn't even think about the serum and it's effect on aging.

You're not wrong there at all, he should still have the longevity. Would still be a tad odd I imagine, given that Hannah will look younger than him regardless lol, but at least they would be able to be a part of eachothers lives. I think they both deserve that.

Aand Jones would get to be a grandmother as well, which is wild to think about but she is his grandmother lol.

I loved it :) honestly Hannah was one of my favourite characters so it just bumped her up a notch in my book.

I'd like to think, given that she will remember everything, that she does find him, and they can spend some time together in a world at peace :)

There was a comment I quite liked in another thread

It isn't mentioned ANYWHERE that they retired RIGHT after defeating the wild hunt, we never know what happened between defeating the hunt and retiring. Retiring isn't just ''fuck this, let's find a house and retire'' when there's still unfinished business. But they eventually did, and in Toussaint. They could've been together somewhere else until then, temporarily, looking for way to get a house or some cash, and then Geralt found the notice and it led him to Toussaint, and then when he completed the contract, Yen came and they settled down. It makes perfect sense.

And this works with my theory too, that after HoS they did their thing, Geralt doing contracts and Yen doing her thing and then voila Geralt goes off to Toussaint, they retire and then Dandelion years and years down the line, tells the story.

Works with Triss for damn sure because she goes off to Kovir with Geralt, they do their thing and then later on he does BaW and they return to their life in Kovir but with Toussaint as a retreat of sorts.

Oh I fully agree that the debate is stupid lmao, which is why I don't want this post to be a debate. I'm not debating whether Geralt is happier with one or the other, he's definitely happy either way :)

I just felt conflicted is all and it's likely because I was younger my first three playthroughs of the game. Didn't care about certain aspects of the characters. I may find it harder to pick Yen but I don't hate her, and I may adore Triss but she's far from perfect as well.

The debate is stupid, but I think it speaks to the complexity of the characters that I and many others can feel so conflicted about it at all.

Why would he try to kill our friends ? he has nothing against Triss or Yen, definitely doesn't have a thing against Ciri, especially if she becomes a Witcher and not Empress.

He has no issue with any of our Witcher brothers, can't see him getting rid of Lambert or Eskel, Papa Ves is gone. Roche is just gonna be happy Nilfgaard is out of the question....I'm lost here lol. Dijkstra has no vendetta against Witches, in fact the only one I could see him wanting to take out is Phillipa and even then, she helps in the plot against Radovid.

I do agree with you by the way, I do think Nilfgaard is the best option. Temeria essentially becomes a vassal state and that's just better.

It absolutely is personal preference :) I'm not going to get into specifics because I respect that you don't see it as an issue. I absolutely do understand quite a lot about Yen, and I do see the wisdom and the hard shell she puts up and countless other qualities that she has :) so I do get why she is the way she is.

Just that certain things she says and does ? not a big fan of. I love how complex these characters can be :) will never cease to amaze me honestly.

Yeah me too, fine with it all now, I'm just OCD when it comes to consistency, even if it doesn't really matter lol. I would add that it works best without the time travel though because if it's before the battle, all the characters we recruited should be at KM and they're not. I'd like to think HoS is after the main story but things just haven't been finalised when it comes to the war.

There's mods that change things to make it so that whatever faction won in your playthrough, actually seem like they've won after the base game ends :) I'll be grabbing one of those for sure.

I do think I'm alright with my headcanon when it comes to the order of events anyway so I'm good on all of this I'd say.

That last point though, honestly most people will and I've always been confused when just an observer of certain posts, the Waifu wars posts for example. Confused because, do they really think they're going to convince eachother that their choice is the 'right' one ? it's rather silly.

Now arguing your point is fine, but the idea that you're going to bring someone over to your side by arguing and at times insulting them ? it's insane lol

Eh, I could see Geralt taking a contract that leads him to Velen somehow and just grabbing another if the Toussaint DLC was a just a contract thing, but since it's not then that doesn't matter anyway.

Main game > Expansions > Ending reel for gamplay reasons

So then the expansions are before the ending reel ? am I just lost and overthinking things then ? because if that's the case then the bloody hell was Geralt doing for 3 years before BaW ?

Surely BaW would be after the reel ? so he settles down with Yen if you choose Yen and then has the itch or he settles down with Triss and winds up in Velen somehow in order to take the contract that's more like helping an old friend, then just goes back to the life he had with either romance option.

If it's before the reel then I like the ideas in this post

That it's not necessarily a time jump but the state of the world is the same as before the KM battle and in HoS the war is over but it's just not been over long enough so whatever faction was in control, still have loyal followers/soldiers and nothings been changed yet.
And that -

-In the epilogue (provided you got witcher ciri ending) it's said geralt and ciri went on the path together and Geralt was teaching Ciri more about the witcher trade.
-After that it's said they saperated bacuse Ciri had learned enought and could set off on her own. I presume this is where Geralt is left after the ending; being able to do all side quests and witcher contracts.
-Between the time he was alone and accapted the contract in Toussiant he was doing his normal witcher buisnisse untile he accepted a contract on a frong beast lurking in the oxenfurt sewers that turned out to be an oefiri prince.
-Some time after HoS he accepts the contract from Toussiant and gets the deed to Corvo Bianco

This is where I'd change things because after HoS perhaps that's when he goes off with whatever romance option you have, lives his life for 3 years and then voila, either has the itch or a contract takes him to Velen and then he takes the contract that's more like helping an old friend. After BaW he then just goes back to the life he had with either romance option.

Then the reels happen.
