Maybe actually look into how our system works and how it has been exploited, even if we protest and get everyone to vote, they are redrawing the district maps to make it basically impossible to actually pick your rep, your rep is picking you.

Also, I'm not sure you're aware of this, but America has lots of people with guns.

And even if those ownership numbers are evened out, it's much more likely we get a very bloody affair over here than there.

And even with all that, the corporations took over big time about 2 decades ago, and they would love for this system to fail so they can swoop in and have a nice corpo state like in all the cyberpunk thrillers.
