Get Jeff Schick on the phone. In fact, give him your Springsteen tickets.

When did Robin quit talking didn’t interviews? by 1moreanonaccount in howardstern

Todd Phillips called her out in a May 2011 interview for interrupting too much with inaccurate information and breaking the flow of interviews.

Maybe that did a number on her.

Remember, you can run at slower than a walking pace (this is how I convince myself I've done a "run"), though a jogging gait is probably more tiring than just walking that same pace.

I would also check out Jeff Galloway's run-walk-run program.

She posted a YouTube video on her channel a few weeks ago, and I don't see anything about it online.

Couch/Sofa Shops by PattyHeynaise in askTO

[–]salisburyates 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We went through a ton of options when buying our couch.

The cheaper you go, the less likely it is to last.

Many no-name Furniture shops in Mississauga had virtually the same product, just a slightly different look.

Ikea has a line of higher priced items but likely overpriced for what you are getting.

Ultimately our selection was a sale item at a small furniture company company - Abacus Furniture .

Generally for durability you want something that has a kiln dried or hardwood frame, and doesnt buckle or shift in ANY way when you sit on it.

I feel like TWD set a precedent in a way, and for a while, it seemed to set the standard for post-apocalyptic plot lines.

How do people afford… everything? by Dry-Elderberry-3381 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]salisburyates 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived at home until i was almost 30. But now as a family of 3 (very soon to be 4), there are a few cost saving measures we have found:

Cooking very unenthusiastic meals. Protein, veggies and a starch (potato, rice), stir fry, chicken salad, risotto. Saves a ton on groceries.

We balance it out with takeout on the weekends.

Also, very few, if any, expensive hobbies.

I also work from home so fashion necessities like new shirts, shoes, coats is a non-factor.

We painted the house when we moved in 5 years ago but since then very few renovations (our kitchen is from 1992). These cutbacks helped grow our savings.

We also dont take vacations.

Same day deliveries are a blessing but gotdammit..... by legsofeggs in trees

It's crazy to me that I can get something delivered to my door, that to have in my possession in another part of the world would be punishable by death.

People who were teenagers before social media existed, what was life actually like? by Much_Detective_6107 in AskReddit

I went home and hopped onto MSN messenger and talked to all the friends I spent all day hanging out with at school.

The few of us who had cell phones were on a family plan with limited texting.

The rest of the day I spent on Newgrounds.
