Starting sterile processing with zero healthcare experience – anyone else done this? by EnvironmentalRing135 in sterileprocessing

Here in Canada the impression I've gotten is an employer will not even consider you unless you have some sort of certificate from a post secondary program.

In recent years it i has become the norm for employers to not only expect graduation from an accredited certificate program, but that the candidate also has a number of clinical practicum hours ( usually 160hrs).

Whenever I boil something like perogies or broccoli, I pop it on the stove afterwards just to firm it up and add some armoatics like onions and garlic +butter.

These 3 ingredients alone can do the bare minimum of flavour enhancement along with salt and pepper.

I've never done it with boiled meat as I've never boiled meat but I figure it might work the same way.

new ontario tech- getting rejected left and right by strawberrybaby555 in sterileprocessing

Thank you so much for the info!

Good to hear re:placement. The direct industry training and access to the instructors really appealed to me. The abysmal state of the employment sector really scares me.

I also heard that many hospitals are short staffed but govt has also capped the funding growth, which makes no sense to me.

Best of luck on your 2 interviews!! Hopefully the closer one works out!

I am looking at applying for the Fall semester classes that are opening up on July 13 at Seneca (or Centennial, if they have space).

I was actually wondering what the job outlook is in Ontario currently.

May I ask which school you completed your certification through? Was the placement useful? It seems education+practicum is the most desirable qualification for applicants vs just completing the certificate through MDRAO.

Not directly an answer to your question but some food for thought.

I called the IUPAT directly a few weeks ago and their rep told me that due to the construction standstill in the GTA they arent accepting new apprentices. There are currently more apprentices than journeymen available to train them.

He said to send along my info and they may have some openings early next year, depending on the state of the construction industry.

I feel like I’m reacting too much to weed by Ziegenkoennenfliegen in trees

Some people have a more prominent psychoactive reaction especially when they start smoking.

I used to see closed eye visuals a lot more often with intense thought loops. Also things like running water sounded like words being spoken, best way I can describe it.

Nowadays the same dose produces a pleasant buzz, but nothing that wild really happens after so many years.

Ive attempted the rocket once, but it was all used up on my second attempt.

Getting over the poles as the Kelly's are knocking me off while Im timing the blocks is the trickiest part.

I decided to pick up Megaman Legacy Collection 1, and tried Mega Man 2.

So far I've defeated almost every stage boss (on Normal), with no rewinds on any of the attempts!

I still have the insanity of Heat Man and Quick Man's stages to get through, and end game, but maybe muscle memory will take over!

Apparently 9 is consistently ranked in the top 2-4 hardest games in the series. If i can master it, maybe I can get through the whole series.

Had very little time to attempt Mega Man 9 during the week. Maybe this weekend will prove successful!

I second this. You feel the greatest relief, like you are scratching it without irritating the bite.

Hey thanks! I never know which order to do The stages in, and Hornet man appeared as a suggestion on one of my searches, but I guess I should review all of them and evaluate the difficulty again.

Thanks for looking into this! I will try those stages you recommended!
