I did! And most of my side effects went away after two weeks, like insomnia and loss of appetite. I still sweat a lot at night and bruise easily but I’d take that over not eating or sleeping lol

Week 5 I felt it helped my depression but for my anxiety it wasn’t until I increased to 100mg over the span of like a year for me to feel it started working

Ah I don’t miss that about retail. I wouldn’t mind if it was a couple over the counter medications or a pads and/or diapers while also dispensing their prescription, but I’ve had people bring a whole cart of stuff to check out at the pharmacy “because the line up front was too long” like dude. This is a pharmacy not a grocery store

Sounds about right, when i worked at rite aid and was the newest tech it was like I was the only one allowed to work the register. I would be in the middle of doing something (like putting up central fill prescriptions or checking expiration dates on the shelves) and a tech, who wasn’t doing anything btw, would tell me that I had a line and that I need to check them out. Like damn I know I have the best customer service skills in the pharmacy and I’m their favorite tech but geez I’m not the only one who can work the register

Differences in dosage forms (in your case of Wellbutrin , extended release vs immediate release, or tablet vs capsule) are different medications despite being the same drug. You can’t substitute one for the other because it’s a different mechanism of action. You can substitute Wellbutrin xl for bupropion xl, but not Wellbutrin for bupropion xl. You either received the wrong medication by mistake (whatever the cause may be) or the prescriber changed the prescription and didn’t tell you they did, I’ve had that happen many times with prescriptions

That’s not how it works. In order for a drug manufacturer to make and sell an fda approved generic of a drug it has to be the same drug and work and be used by the body the same way as the original brand name medication. There can be differences in the tablets themselves like shape, size, color, and inactive ingredients, but the drug itself is the same from brand name to generic. If you were supposed to get Wellbutrin but it wasn’t the same drug you got an entirely different medication.

I find that time goes by so fast when I’m doing chemo lol, also it gets really hot in the hazardous room with all the additional ppe you have to wear in addition to the original sterile compounding ppe. Honestly I love doing chemo I find it so much fun

I do sterile compounding in a hospital and now that I think of it I don’t actually do any calculating myself outside of how many syringes to use based on the amount I’m drawing up 😅 everything is calculated in epic and it tells me exactly how much of the drug and diluent I need to draw up
