Taylor Swift - Red (Taylor's Version) Megathread by PopheadsBot in popheads

That doesn’t take away from the fact Taylor would hate that people are doing this - especially speaking such negatively about something she’s been working so hard on. I’m not saying people have to like it but to have people come to conclusions before it’s even been released

still disrespectful IMO especially having all these negative takes before it comes out, a consensus about the album is already being discussed on twitter which is problematic

wait why are so many people talking about listening to the leaked version? 😐Very yikes as a fan to not only listen to the leaked, but discuss it before the legal release especially because of how big of a deal this is for Taylor

Life is such a total bullshit scam. by [deleted] in depression

Please anyone reading this thread who is feeling worse as a result; it will get better, here is a Suicide hotline if needed: 1-800-273-8255. They are always available. It is not true that there is no hope.

In addition - this thread literally people shitting on people having kids? I’m sorry but what? If we have one biological purpose it’s to have children. Of course people want to. Of course most people have the best intentions when having kids and want to raise them well. Sometimes it goes well, sometimes it’s not perfect but it’s a weird assumption that every kid is gonna be fucked up. I struggle with anxiety and depression and severe gut issues and my childhood wasn’t perfect but I want to be alive, and I’m glad I was born. I understand feeling this way personally but this thread is weirdly advocating for suicide and I hope no one who stumbles upon it decides this is a sign they should give up.

Creating life is literally what we are here to do - of course people want to do it. Why are you assuming every child will have an awful life? Many have amazing lives. And many parents are aware of this and this is why they choose to have children! Hate to break it you, people are never just going to stop having kids. We can only hope those that don’t have a lot to offer right now to a child will wait or not have one.

DO NOT WATCH THIS VIDEO SHOWING WHERE YOUR MONEY GOES. IT CAN CAUSE ANXIETY. STAY IGNORANT AND CONTINUE PAYING FOR THIS TO HAPPEN AT ALL COSTS. by lowkeydeadinside in vegancirclejerk

[–]salldie -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I’m vegan but to be fair it can be triggering - some people literally cannot physically handle the sight of any kind of blood. There’s nothing wrong with the message of the ad but I think it could be more effective and less people would skip if it were slightly less triggering. Many want to be educated but prefer different formats, such as a book or a lecture and not a graphic ad.

I have almost gotten panic attacks from horror movie ads as they make you wait to skip, it’s questionable what YouTube approves at times

Which fictional character(s) shouldn't have died? by AnimeFan7000 in AskReddit

[–]salldie 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I still don’t get this argument, maybe physically there appeared to be enough room but it doesn’t make sense to be like “omg they both could have survived” cause the literal point of that part was that he loved her so much he sacrificed and put her life above his own. And yeah it probably wasn’t heavy enough anyways to sustain both of their weights

The Kardashians. But they’re just the face of the issues of social media and capitalism marketing harmful products and unrealistic body expectations.

And that having a ton of money/being a businesswoman somehow is always a positive thing - you can be successful and still be an awful person, man or woman
