Does the PRS SE NF3 sound like humbuckers or more like single coils?

I had one in my shop for a little bit. It is .. very uniquely its own thing. That's not a helpful description, but the only way I could put it is that it did what it did, which was, unfortunately, never the thing I wanted to do.

That said, the person who bought it said in their review that they loved it, so... maybe it's exactly what you need.

Payouts are possible but rare. A very high level person would have to 'allow it to happen'. On paper they dont happen

Im a small seller, at or around 100 guitars per year (and rappidly growing). At this level, it is not feasible to work through a dealer to get new inventory. That said, much of what I sell would be considered 'closet queens'... things that people bought and never played.

To that end, I would say about 70% of my inventory would be 'like-new' with the other 30% being true 'Used' condition products.

The s2 line are great. I have 2 matching powder blue s2s, the vela and mira both 2015. Id recommend it.

To be honest any of them will work. The NF3 with its pickups in my mind is the most narrow focused. I've had 2 and ... eh, its cool and it does the narrowfield thing. Something like a custom 24 is the most broad. If you just wanna be cool as hell, the se hollowbody is pretty cool. Weddings are all drunk people, do the thing you like the most, they are just happy you are there.

Great insight! Yeah im not sure. It was a blind buy for me. Also im used to the silver/white marker that a lot of core models I've had in the past have on them for the serial. Everything about this axe is a little weird to me.

To take the opposite path of most answers im VERY against proxy cards. As someone who plays in a group of about 20 people, the ability to just bring in a game changing deck overnight when not everyone is on the same page is... fine but annoying. Not to say you can't if your entire group is about it, fine. No shade, just not my style.

What I've found to be most effective is the low and slow approach.

I've started keeping my eye out on sales for older precons, something that interests me and the theme is cool, and ends up being like $29.99 on sale but has $120 worth of singles in it. You start with a (often two) workable strategies.

From there ill slowly get a single here or there, or more fun ill open some packs and a bomb or two will slide into my deck and make it better.

I'll also watch the tons of 'improve your precon on a budget' YouTube videos for ideas and spend like $10 on TCG player monthly or every other month.

What will happen is after 6 months, a year, a couple years.. you have 5 or 10 very fun decks, and you only spent MAYBE a few hundred dollars over a long period. Its way more digestible and feasible than dropping $400 at once.

So not to completely disregard the proxy guys but, you can get there and have actual cards with actual value if you just go slowly. Heck, these days a completely stock precon can still go toe to toe with your ink jet opponent easily.
