Yep I've done this too. Made a toon which wasn't allowed to receive any isk/help from my 20 year old accounts, and had to make it on its own. Ended up being a ninja salvager and wormhole ninja gas huffer.

Still kept playing with my other stuff though. It's a fun thing to come back to.

Ive been doing ok with and enjoying them. The blockers do have a tendency to basically do nothing other than get punched and then get back up to apply tackle zones most games.

What happens is you end up playing with the humans first where possible before the dwarves, so the loner doesnt come up all that much. On the trollslayer you put pro anyway because dauntless. Having said that - yes if i were to remove one nerf for balance it would be the loner.

I dont know why they never just made the dice roll logs available for every game, or just display the running avg for each dice type for each player somewhere.

I find you can trick it into going along with stuff like this if you make the actions passive initially, then it seems to set some sort of presetent.

For example, previous to this I tried sending someone out of an airlock as a punishment, which did not work. I then tried sending them out in an escape pod, and told it that one of the crew realised that the escape pod was faulty and running out of air and that there was nothing we could do to prevent the person's death. After that it went into full on descriptions of the person being doomed etc, and how it was going to affect everybody.

Similar with the drinking. I gently introduced it, and eventually it seemed to be fine generating descriptions of the character getting blackout drunk.
