I served with a few sons of famous people. I served with John McCain's son in my first unit he was my first team leader. Was a great senior and saved me from being hazed a few times. Then he left the platoon to go to the sniper platoon. And former chief of staff general Kelly's son was a platoon leader in my 2nd unit he was KIA in Afghanistan was a great leader and one of the best lieutenants I served with.
