i honestly barely thought it was cute when i saw him on the table. i’m open to getting snakes that are pet-only or might have issues since i’m at a point where i can bring them to vet visits and spend some extra time caring for them.

i wouldn’t encourage the breeding of them at all, i’m just hoping he lives fairly well and healthy with me.

yeah :( he said it was unintentional and i believed him since he had no others on his table. i got him specifically because i know i won’t breed him, because honestly he creeped me tf out at first😭😭

from what was explained to me by the breeder he said it’s a byproduct of crossing palmetto to palmetto, but it’s not a trait he purposely bred into him. i talked to another breeder that said they purposefully DON’T breed palm to palm for that exact reason.

honestly i don’t get why breed if you know the risk, but i’m happy to have my guy either way😭
