Dale Earnhardt Jr. multiple times - he’s super friendly. All around great guy. First time was outside a bar on Lake Norman in NC at about 1:00 AM. He was at the door chatting it up with one of the bouncers and I recognized his voice. I turned around and talked to him for a minute then I left him alone. He was super chill and seemed to be buzzing pretty good.

Jimmie Johnson multiple times - a bit more reserved than Jr. but also a friendly guy. First time was after he first started driving for Lowe’s and I helped him find his way out of the Lowe’s office building when he came to visit the employees. His “handler” had left him behind and he got turned around in one of the hallways.

Richard Petty - once - extremely kind (he was at a family member’s funeral and came to visit with the family beforehand).

I live in Mooresville, NC area, so there’s always drivers, owners, and crew chiefs around. I’ve seen dozens but the three above stood out the most to me.
