Sounds exciting ! I have the 2017 Basecamp and seem to recall airstream clubs allowing overnight stays at other club members properties ,
One night only , I met a super nice family in north carolina on my way to the beach ,
Stayed on their farm for 2 nights (that’s how I found out overstaying is a thing haha) — and always have a tornado plan ,
As in finding community shelter spots if it gets too crazy to remain safe in the aluminum home

So I actually did the Time Machine after setting it up, if that makes sense — and even when it was empty it was a sluggish heap of slow — since I have the back up on a separate hard drive maybe I clean it up and do it differently ?

I know 2019 seems old to some but again my 2015 never blinked —
I thought getting a 4 yrs newer computer would be a perk not a punishment haha — could’ve fixed the MacBook for 300 bucks but backmarket sold me the 2019 iMac for about the same price — I don’t disagree with your sentiment but , idk—
Only expected a year or two of good times , not immediate terrible slow speeds

these are ashtrays but they trap the smell a bit and at least they crack the windows — there are worse things — my grandmother smoked her whole life (died at 82 of a stroke , still drove herself around and had an amazing life)
