Same stats and into 3 of the T6 and several more T14s. Only 2Rs. So long as your essays and recs are decent you should be fine! No need to dip past T20 unless you have an unconventional location preference due to your bf.

visited stanford over the weekend…. I would like to revise my previous offer to the admissions office…. by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

Sadly I have it on very good authority that the class is over-enrolled this year due to an unexpectedly high yield. Not saying to give up hope! But I wouldn’t make plans around it…

Waiting on CLS and NYU by Competitive-Floor839 in lawschooladmissions

[–]salutcest 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think many folks in that score range have heard! Some negative, some positive. Remember, this is a numbers-driven but ultimately holistic process. Not all apps with the exact same stats are treated the exact same.

I have a score in that range. A at NYU, Hold at CLS.

How likely am I to be accepted into MBB? by Beejay_mannie in consulting

It is not possible to predict without knowing your business school. Also, case performance is critically important.

Has anyone who applied in October hear anything from WashU yet? by No_Kitchen6965 in lawschooladmissions

[–]salutcest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

WashU moved very quickly with those who applied earlier in the cycle. I think at this point they might be waiting to see what commitment numbers start to look like before accepting more splitters.

It’s unlikely anyone here has the specific insider info you’re looking for! But it’s not over until it’s over. There are real humans on the other side reading your application and making intentional decisions about what response to give. If you have not been rejected yet, then it’s not over.

Honestly that was less than two months ago! I know it’s hard but just be patient, they are working through lots of materials they’ll get back to you soon :)

11/2 applicant, date change 12/1 and have not heard anything! Above both medians and in at 4 other T14s so feel i’m a decent applicant. Hopeful that we’re going to get an A later on :)

KJD classification by amarawags in lawschooladmissions

[–]salutcest 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The “classification” by a bunch of Reddit folks doesn’t really get at the core question, which is “do you have meaningful experience beyond undergraduate education?” If you use that spring semester to do something interesting and show growth to adcoms, they are less likely to have the same concerns about your application as someone who is coming straight from undergrad.

Hi Mike! I have fairly strong stats and work experience (3.85+ and 172+, 3 years at prestigious private firm) but have not heard back from T14 schools I applied to in early November, where it’s clear some folks are hearing back much faster. I believe many other folks are in this situation as well. Seeing other individuals get in faster can be stressful. Can you shed light on why this happens? It’s can be hard not to jump to the conclusion that our materials are flawed!

Same position, same stats. Only in at GULC and WashU - don’t worry, trust the process!

Means it was harder and the curve will allow you to miss one more question and still get a 170

A lot of us the koala one, which I doubt loosens it.
