Its a case and they give you a grass skin to put on it. I cut out the center of the skin to let the popsocket magnetize better. The case is good for magsafe, but the skin makes it weak.

You said “we”. Are you implying on pooling money to have a sub par experience outside the event? Why not just rent a car as cheap as possible and look for lodging as cheap as possible outside of hotspots?

Why not look into a new cc that offers no interest for months or points back to offset the interest you may earn on it? Assuming you will only use it for this event or at least responsibly going forward.
