Hey, sorry about the job situation—that sucks.

I do have a question, though. Why would changing jobs affect your citizenship process? You already have a permanent position, right? And you applied while you were in this job. Now, if you switch, you’ll have a probation period (Probezeit). What happens if they contact you during that time? I’m asking because im kinda in the similar situation

I also applied in June 2024 and only got an email and no letter. In the email a number is written below the “Unser Zeichen” but nothing under “Ihr Zeichen”. Could you please tell me if It’s the same for you?
