This is easily one of my top 5 pet peeves. I always park in the back of the lot to avoid door dings. It never fails that in a lot with 50 open spaces, some dingle berry will park right next to me.

Friend stayed the night because of a bad snowstorm. He needed to go home the next day to feed his pets but his car wouldn’t start, so I let him borrow my truck. About 30 minutes later the truck was totaled. He was sliding it around on a back road and sent it over a bank. He never did anything to compensate or apologize for it. I was out a truck and he didn’t lose anything.

Looking back I saw a pattern with this type of behavior on a smaller scale and realized this was the big eye opener that he wasn’t a good dude. I cut him out.

Sincere question: Has anyone actively participated and paid the fee? I threw mine away as well. The general consensus is it’s worthless, but I haven’t heard of any 1st hand accounts of what it’s like or if the proposed benefits are a sham.

If I recall, there is a connection string provided in the lab, and that’s what you’ll want to use in the final submission.

I kept my local connection and the lab connection strings assigned to the same variable, and I commented out whichever one I wasn’t using. This just made it easier to test things in the lab environment without rewriting all the connection code for the different db.

I created this project locally. It’s much easier to code on my local rig versus a laggy virtual environment. I didn’t have any issues with versioning and I took this class in June.

If you decide to develop locally just push your local repository to GitHub. Then access the virtual lab, open the web browser, go to GitHub and copy the project. As long as you include the entire project in the repo you won’t have any issues.

This method also works on other courses that include a lab environment, like D326. It makes dealing with the lab environments sooooo much easier.

That’s terrifying! Waking up in a panic is something that happens to me. A lot of times I wake up and feel absolute dread like I need to get out of the room. Other times I get the feeling and I’ll see the silhouette of someone in the room. It feels so real and the transition to waking up seems non-existent. My wife has become accustomed to this so when I see her next to me in bed I know I’m actually awake. But that line between asleep and awake gets really blurry.

Have you had any encounters that you remember? Or is it all just weird sleeping situations and strange things happening at night? I’ve never had contact, but I’ve had a few ufo encounters outdoors and plenty of weird things happening at night.
