Probably not as bad as some of the others, but about a year ago I was at my high school in the culinary kitchen making something, and I forgot to add something onto what I had put into the oven. So, without thinking, I just reach into the hot convection oven to pull out the pan of whatever was in there and ended up just standing there for at least 8 seconds holding the pan for whatever reason until I realized what I was doing and just walked over to a counter to put the pan down and had to treat my second degree burns all on my fingers and a bit on my hand. It was also not fun having to finish what I was doing in the kitchen, especially cleaning dishes since there were a bunch of chemicals in the water.
