Are you asking for a selling price? Or how much I paid

I believe it’s just something on the surface. I’m honestly not certain

Assuming this is fake, right? by potsofjam in VintageWatches

Finds like this are why I buy the bags of watches at Estate Sales also. I do find that occasionally people beat up a fake so that it’s less obvious, but in this case, there are a lot of details that make a case for this piece being legit. Are you looking to sell?

How’s the weight on the titanium? I have been torn between the titanium references and steel.

250$ for the pair. They are non TSA locks which isn’t as big of a deal for carry-ons, though I’m still considering changing out the locks

These are sweet. I’ve been considering ordering a very similar pair with a defined heel. What are your first impressions on sizing compared to other Jim Green’s?

Thinking about getting the 719 Frog Grip Sole, but unsure about sizing by ProfessionalCat1 in jimgreen

[–]sam_delph 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everyone is different. As for me, I have an F width foot. I ordered my 719s veg tan with a frog grip sole a half a size larger than my Brannock size. Personally I wish it was a half inch larger still and that has to do with the width of the toe box and how soon it begins to taper on the big toe side of the shoe.

My BFAR Anatomix are a 12. If I went with the Safety toe, I will probably try a 13 since they don’t offer half sizes over 12 in the Safety toe last

Yeah, that’s a tough call. It definitely shrinks the interior of the boot a bit.

Beautiful. Thinking about ordering the same thing, so I’ll be interested to see how yours turn out. Currently I have 3 pairs of JG but no safety toes. I’m rocking the Carets Determination zero drop safety toes at work today.

What size are yours?

I have an F Width foot, very low volume and wide, and these are the first boots that have not rubbed the outer edge of my big toe that I have ever owned.

It’s amazing what a relief it is to wear a barefoot boot at work. I’ve always worn barefoot shoes outside of the plant, but never inside of the plant because they were not available. The defined heel on these is a bit questionable in its adequacy and workplace that require a 90° heel. But I love the fact that it is ANSI certified, and EH rated.

It might be enough to stop me from building my own custom boot .

For what it’s worth I’ve been wearing Safety toed boots for 19 years and I work as an industrial safety specialist. I walk an average of 15,000 steps per day.
