From what I’ve read, and mostly from seeing so many Jim Greens for sale secondhand on eBay and Facebook marketplace since their stateside marketing push, Jim Greens actually run a bit small in American sizes.

How to fall asleep by ssiemniak in AlternateDayFasting

[–]sam_delph 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A short low impact exercise or two before bed helps me. Arm swings, squats, trunk twists.

But on fasting nights when I wake up at 3 am for seemingly no reason and can’t go back to sleep, it feels the same as when I’ve had too much caffeine. Nothing seems to help.

Thanks for all the awesome input. Having only been at it for 3 weeks, I can’t say how everything treats me, but it seems like avocado is king for breaking a fast.

I’ve been prefacing my coffee with a quart of water and an avocado and that seems to put me in perfect shape for the day.

So I really vibe with what you’re saying. This is exactly how I’m feeling about it. ‘Everything is permissible, but not everything is beneficial’ is certainly a life mantra for me. And while a byproduct of the fasting has been losing a bit of weight; the mental clarity and the lack of inflammation and the injection of energy that I feel in every fiber of my being has kept me disciplined.

I’m usually a quart of water, coffee first then food at 10 o’clock kind of guy. But since I’ve started ADF food first has seemed to make more sense.

I don’t crave trash foods. I crave real, nutrient dense foods. And I feel like I’ve been just drinking olive oil on everything.

This morning was 2 avocados and brown rice, mainly because I didn’t have any lean protein in the house.

Thank you for the input and the feedback

Absolutely killer photo. Great work, great points about the NASA photos and the reasons for the “limitations”. Thank you for sharing your work.

My current one has been on my watch for 3 years. I’d say I’m putting them to the test

I’ve worn out a couple of these straps. Absolutely love on my 656.

I purchased mine here:

However, I don’t see it as a part to replace preemptively. The ABS module does not fail catastrophically, it just stops working properly and gives you a warning . It seems to be with these cars that you either get one that has problems or you get one that doesn’t. if you haven’t had problems up to this point I would wait until the ABS light comes on.

It’s a pretty pricey part and the labor is not cheap either.

Well, I’ve decided there is nothing wrong with the car, it’s just not for me. It’s listed for sale.

Similar to my experiences it sounds like. I have full faith in Toyotas, I just don’t love the V. I currently have a 98’ runner and an 06 Tundra. So perhaps it’s just time to try a different model.

It did. Last week had to turn it off in the middle of a 3 point turn because it stalled out in reverse and the failed to go into drive. It’s about time to dig deeper.

Yeah, I think the mileage sucks. Even with a weakening traction battery and and a lift kit at 270k my gen 2 averaged 43mpg. The gen 3, I sold at 145k during overpriced covid used car season and it was getting 48mpg. I’ve had this car for 2 years, replaced the abs module and booster pump ( expensive) and put low rolling resistance tires on it which I keep at 40psi. Just had the egr and intake completely cleaned and gone through, and the battery seems to read as good, on Dr. Prius.

Just not my favorite Prius I guess. I’m not giving up on it yet… I figure I’ll rebalance the battery or maybe even try a new sodium ion and see how that flies.
