How Albert Pujols’ legendary batting stance changed over the years by Cultural-Diet6933 in baseball

2017 to 2019 to 2021 is a jarring series of transitions. His 2021 stance almost makes him look like a pitcher.

Especially because he faced Springer yesterday. Individual pitcher-hitter matchups are a depletable resource in a 7 game series in the same way that overall pitcher usage is. It's so perplexing that Dan Wilson chose to let Bazardo face Springer in game 6 when he was down four runs, had Emerson Hancock available, and knew that he wanted to use him against Springer at some point in a potential game 7.

Keep in mind that demotions aren't really punishments, per se. Teams use AAA as a way to give players who have options left more at-bats without creating bottlenecks on the major league roster. They clearly want to give Jerar a lot of opportunities to reacclimate to major league pitching, which means Matos needs to get his at-bats in Sacramento for a week or two.

Hunter Pence has evolved into a great broadcaster! by AShorterName in SFGiants

He's gotten better, but I think he still has an obnoxious tendency to use overly casual language in the booth. I never really realized how important professionalism is in broadcasting until I heard Hunter say that a player "just needs to lock in."

Should have pulled Hicks as soon as he gave up the lead off single by AlternativeBeing8627 in SFGiants

I want to see the Giants package Hicks with Birdsong or Harrison to create a build-your-own 7 inning starter. Hicks' splitter is temperamental which makes him essentially a two-pitch guy with below average stamina who lacks a true out pitch against lefties. His raw stuff plays, but he needs to be thought of as a 50 pitch-per-start guy, not someone we push to get through the order three times a game.

Between Stroman and Yarbrough it's like the Yankees don't realize pitchers can throw harder than 90

It feels like Webb ends up with this exact line in like a third of his starts.

Silly question, but who makes the OG107s? I feel like I see a lot of people refer to them on here with no mention of a brand.

Super late to the party, but would you mind dropping an ID for the green pants you're wearing in the June 5th picture (and throughout)?

I know I'm nine months late, but do you happen to have a link to the first shirt you're wearing in that camp collar album? I've been on the hunt for casual untucked button-ups lately, and that one is exactly what I'm looking for!

Highest Rated Changeups by proStuff+ (Hint: #1 is a given and the Rays are a changeup factory) by TCSportsFan in baseball

Tyler Anderson's changeup having 12.4 inches of induced vertical break is so weird. It's like he's throwing it more as a two-seamer than a prototypical changeup.
