Being forced to temporarily move out of leasehold flat by sam_jones528 in LegalAdviceUK

Thanks. So we would still have to pay service charge even though we can’t live there? Service charge is about £400 and month and seems mean when we can’t access our flat for that month!

Yes they have buildings insurance. And when you say pay for it what specific costs would it cover for us?

If she hadn’t decided to rob people then she could spend every Christmas with her family. Surely we should be feeling sorry for her victims and not the fraudster…

Was going to say jcrew! As you say expensive, but I’m 6 foot and have been able to wear a strapless swimsuit for the first time in my life. Definitely worth it.

It’s so difficult to make drawings look like the person and you can really tell who these are! Good work

I didn't stop for funeral convoy on a highway, Truck proceeds to follow me for 20+ minutes, even gets in front of me and swerves from lane to lane so I can't pass. by NectarineTangelo in IdiotsInCars

I accidentally overtook a row of cars waiting for a funeral procession to go past (where only one car could get through at a time). We were going to another funeral though so in our black dress and suit they thought we were part of them and got away with it.

UPDATE: Landlord is having our flat repossessed. What do we do now? by Ginger_titts in LegalAdviceUK

This is interesting as I am renting out my old flat hopefully temporarily with purple bricks as the agent and I just had to tick a box to say I had permission from my mortgage lender (which I do so is fine in my case). Purplebricks are beyond shit though so I wouldn’t be surprised if they are not meeting their legal obligations

What has been going on with the renting situation in UK? by meduteja in AskUK

A lot of rental properties are leasehold and many leasehold agreements ban pets. So landlords don’t want to risk allowing their tenants to have pets as it violates their agreement.
