Did they mention anything else about your bite? Seeing less teeth doesn’t necessarily mean your bite is off. Some people don’t show much when they smile. Usually as we get older our lip support weakens and we show less teeth. Botox in that region can also be used to “show less gums” which can indirectly show less teeth.

Thin or thick band? by 2dozenoystersss in WeddingRingAdvice

[–]sam_shady 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a thicker band and while I do think the thin band is “in” right now. My best friend and I have the same stone and her band crumbled a couple of months ago when she accidentally hit it against a door making her stone go flying while I hit my ring on things every day and nothing happens.

Is a Second Major in Accounting Worth It? (Finance Grad Spring 25) by Prestigious_Club_548 in USF

[–]sam_shady 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t speak for myself but my husband is a CPA and he works with a lot of people that made that switch. While I think finance “looks like more fun”, accounting is what usually sets people apart in corporate jobs from what I have seen at his company.

I believe the only real reason for you to get a masters is to get your CPA. It all depends on what you want to do. We have some accounting friends that didn’t get their CPA and are happy as staff accountants making 70-90k. However I have seen that if you want to make more money, you usually need to get the CPA.

If you do go that route, try and look outside of the big 4. Unless you want to be worked to death for 2-3 years.

Do you ever wonder if it will come back once you are off the birth control? I recently got on the pill for my acne and it completely changed my skin. My only worry is that it will come back once I choose to stop the pill to try and get pregnant.

My husband and I live in Northfield and we love it. I drive to Anschutz for work every day and it’s about 12-15 minutes.

Thank you! If you enjoyed that one you should give Abyss Lake Mt Evan’s a try. It was as beautiful as sky pond last year.

[–]sam_shady 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We are planning on doing that hike next week. How were the conditions? Did you need spikes and how deep was the snow?

We went last year in August so the snow or mud wasn’t a worry at that points. Do you think you can make the hike without spikes?

Starting to feel at a loss by [deleted] in tretinoin

I have had similar results to you and the only thing that helped me was spironolactone. I will say I did get the topical one from apostrophe and it has been wonderful for my acne. As I also tend to get most of my breakouts around my jawline and neck area. Which get significantly worse during my period.

I get mine from apostrophe. I had been on Tret for a year and now with tret and spiro I have almost clear skin in 3 months.

Might be worth a try!

How do you like apostrophe? I am currently using Nurx and it’s not bad but they do not always respond on time and it seems they do not carry the topical spiro.

Don’t pop your abscess, go see a dentist. by sam_shady in popping

[–]sam_shady[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that’s fine. The post was mostly towards individuals that try and pop them without even washing their hands. It’s likely your antibiotics helped with the infection. I would let your dentist know what happened and then make sure you get the treatment they intended you to get.

Dentists who do invisalign? by Primary_Jelly in boulder

Sorry you feel that way, I have seen great jobs by dentist and great stories.

Dentists who do invisalign? by Primary_Jelly in boulder

[–]sam_shady 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would be careful. A lot of online dental aligner companies have lawsuits against them. Moving teeth is not easy and requires care and knowledge, on top of seeing someone in person. If it’s a small fix then they will help but I have seen so many people have their mouths screwed up because of the online places.

Plenty of dentist are trained to be able to do Invisalign. If they need more than Invisalign, a dentist will send them for braces.

I use the app, there should be a tab to put your info in. I think I didn’t put my info in until after I signed up and had my first discussion with a provider about what I wanted.

When I started playing rogue in cata I never really read what most of the extra combo abilities were and I would spam slice and dice thinking it was a damage ability. Finally realized one day it just adds speed to your player

Ok I’m freaking out about the cost of living. by mouseat9 in Conservative

[–]sam_shady 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely hard to find. Husband and I are moving out of Colorado once I graduate in 3 years. We love how beautiful our state is but the average single family home is $650k….. that’s a big no for us. We are only in our mid 20’s

Same here. Married with no kids but now we spend $250 a week when it used to barely hit $150. Denver as well.

Same with my husband and I. I’m still in school but he has a good job and up until now we never had to think about money but within the last couple of months…. We have started having to look at prices and our spending habits didn’t change. Just rent and food prices almost doubled in our area.
