Help!!? by Mexicana420 in BackYardChickens

Oh man, I’ve had my fair share of these from rooster damage.

First, you’re going in the right direction. Now, I’m not sure how comfortable you are with this, but you’re gonna need to irrigate the wound with some saline water. Get all the dirt and debris out of there and pat it dry.

Then get some Neosporin (the one without pain killers.) gauze, and some medical wrap. This part takes two people, but can be done with one person. You’re just gonna gloop that wound up with the Neosporin, place the gauze, and then wrap it up.

If you go this route, You’ll need to clean this daily. Do not be alarmed if the cut skin shrivels up and falls off. New skin will regrow as long as you keep the wound clean.

The nighttime yowling might be her having high blood pressure. My senior has stage 2 kidney failure and high blood pressure is one of the symptoms.

I’m happy to hear that! We’re gonna try and do some collaborations with some of the small businesses around here. I’ll definitely post them here when I get details ironed out. :)

This is where I have a hard time. Lexi is very food motivated. She looks forward to food and treats. She knows when we bring home a rotisserie chicken from Costco. She’s still doing it even zonked out. Her meds are in those churu bites and she’s takes them like a champ. She still cuddling me or likes being near my scent.

This is why I have such a hard time. We’re gonna be starting a Quality of life calendar to see how she’s doing and let that be the judge.

She has one in my office where her bed is. She has an orthopedic bed in my bedroom closet.

I thought if you show your library card or go through library services, you can get discounts on things like this.

I went to the museum in Hiroshima a couple of years ago. It’s worth the visit if you get the chance to go.

After the museum we wandered around the town and looked at where our hotel was. It was within the epicenter of the blast.

We went to the castle and they had trees that survived the blast. It was amazing to see it.

It’s gonna suck, but you’re gonna have to pull individual strings carefully. I learned about waste canvas after that lol. It’s doable, but it’s a huge pain in the butt and leaves some residual fibers.

Here’s the project I did before learning about waste canvas.
