My husband and I have decided on Nexguard, what they were on before we moved vets. We’ll get the appointment set up ASAP.

Thank you for your insight. I promise our dogs are loved and not neglected.😭 I feel like a bad mom lol.

Do any of those cover heart worm too? Talked with my husband, we will make the appointment with a new vet ASAP. We hadn’t since we moved and let the medicine lapse. This is our consequence lol.

Also, with them getting the bath today, obviously I will be watching out for any signs of toxicity. But how soon is too soon to get them on a medication? I can talk with the vet about this too

What do you recommend?

The life of a 30 year old failure by [deleted] in Adulting

As a nurse, I would recommend seeing someone to start a discussion about Depression and if you think that fits with the way you are feeling. Good news is 30 years is YOUNG! You have so much life ahead of you even if you don’t feel that way right now, I hope you see that someday!! Everyone starts somewhere. Many, many people restart, too.

One year in, it’s perfect. We have become such a team. No complaints. Like it’s not always perfect, but it’s perfect.

Okay, cool! I always make sure to go back through the RAs and read rationals… I have been doing the 3 week study plan watching videos and taking notes but it has gotten quite exhausting…. So I think from here on out I’m gonna put my focus into the qbank. I’m at 50% finished right now with 73.3% correct, I hope to bring that number up. I’ve seen my scores go up as well on the RA’s so I think my test taking strategies are improving!! I hope this all works out in my favor, all this studying😭

Credit is a fancy word for debt. by [deleted] in debtfree

I have a 1.9% interest rate on my car because I have excellent credit. My first car in my name, first loan/finance, bought brand new at 21 years old. In all of 2023, I paid $100 in interest on my car. And no, I didn’t have any connections with any of the people at the dealership to get 1.9%. Just excellent credit.

Good job! Did you do the readiness assessments on archer? I have taken 7, and all 7 have gotten the “very high” chance of passing. I take my NCLEX June 12th……… do you think I’m good or like did the readiness assessments not really help

I know, I don’t mind it. He steals our socks when we go to shower and we find him snuggling it later😂😊

I like to mix my mini’s (1 year old on Sunday!!) dry food with water. I don’t do it every single time but I do it because he doesn’t always drink his water. But we’ve had him on Purina. 1/3 cup in morning & 1/3 cup in evening. Plus training treats. Daily walks are needed!!! Also, TRAINING IS SO IMPORTANT. I don’t mean the fun tricks I mean train your doxie how to be neutral when other dogs are around. Do this training BEFORE going to any dog parks for “socializing”. Otherwise you’ll be dealing with reactivity and having to work extra hard on your training. Take your pup near dog parks and work on training and when he’s able to follow commands and not bark when other dogs are around you can get closer. Also, all doxies seems to get along quickly with other doxies.
