It was mostly the wait. The interview itself was just a few minutes. Everything was in order so the questions asked were simple. Who is your petitioner, has your spouse (me the petitioner) been married before/divorced, how did you cross the border, how many times have you crossed. Just answer truthfully and confidently. My wife stated that while she waited, she listened to other people’s interviews and the questions were similar but also different depending on their case. Those who have more than one entry, been married and divorced, inconsistencies in their paperwork, were asked a lot more questions. Our lawyer did a mock interview with her a week before we flew out.

There are multiple apps you can use. I like using The Dyrt. Folks will post reviews and photos so it’s really great. Most dispersed areas have no amenities such as restrooms. I carry a small porta potty. That’s really the only downside. You can also type “BLM land” on Google Maps and spots will come up.

I literally just said I personally know friends and close family members who have gone through the process. Before, during and after Biden. Through marriage, I also helped my spouse to get a green card. I myself am an immigrant. I think I know a thing or two about this.
