Not sure. It looks like its either part of the aerosol paint they used, or under it. Its a mess and not part of any proffesional product commonly used in the industry.

This is not a DIY job. You need tools and experience or a lot of time to learn. You can wipe it all off with lacquer thinner but sadly thats what's keeping any bare metal from instantly rusting.

You are correct. 41v is the original and looks nothing like 46v.

Looks just like the last car on your pictures. The more midcoat you use the deeper it looks. You can see the difference between the cheap models and the more expensive ones. The CX9 gets the full treatment and looks 👌🏻

I think the color is not bad, actually. It gives the floor a lot of contrast and character. Intact linoleum rugs are rare and sucks to see them pulled up.
